The Election Support Project 2010 is supported by: Canada, Denmark, the European Commission, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, UNDP and the United Kingdom, and is managed under the auspices of the United Nations Development Programme in Tanzania.

The development partners contributed a total of approximately USD 28 million to a basket fund which will finance the activities of the project.
